Biography:

Loa, whose real name is Alani Ryan, is a mutant character in the Marvel Comics universe. She first appeared in *New Mutants* Vol 2 #3 (2003).

Loa's mutant ability allows her to disrupt molecular bonds. She can pass through solid objects by temporarily disrupting their structure, and she can also use this ability offensively.

She was a student at the Xavier Institute and was a member of the New Mutants squad, mentored by Dani Moonstar. Loa has Hawaiian heritage, which is a significant aspect of her character.
